With our comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments (DA), we will be able to ascertain your child’s needs, how best to help your child more effectively, the frequency and the type of programmes suitable for him/her.
Bridge programmes are each specially designed for different purposes, to help develop different skills and benefit varying learners. Some learners may require only 1 programme or a combination of programmes to maximize their abilities and development. We have learners who need no recommendation for programmes after our DA.
Most of our Bridge Core Programmes are conducted at least twice weekly for 1 hour per session. For more effective progress and higher retained learning, we always encourage increased frequency for at least twice weekly.
Bridge Electives are conducted at least once weekly for 2 hours per session.
Intensive courses are available for some programmes during school holidays.
Special enrichment courses and workshops are also available during school holidays.
DA is required for all Bridge Core Programmes.
DA is not required for Bridge Electives and ad-hoc courses and workshops.
Bridge Literacy
• Structured Developmental Benchmarks In Accordance with the Latest MOE Syllabus
• Ability-Driven & Engaging Activities to Accelerate Bridging of Literacy Gaps
• Effective & Targeted Learning in Small Ability-Driven Groups
• Promote Sense of Achievement, Confidence & Motivation towards Learning
Bridge Literacy is a fusion of the latest MOE syllabus with international educational materials. It is thoroughly developed to support your child in acquiring successful strategies and skills to excel in handling examination components.
Concurring with Vygotsky’s “proximal zone of learning”, our customised learning is conducted within small ability-driven groups through enjoyable learner-centred activities. These help to bridge literacy gaps in the most effective manner while providing learners with higher sense of achievement.
Many parents are at a lost over how to improve their children’s literacy grades other than traditional tuition. Children become unmotivated learners with worksheet drills because they desire more meaningful learning. The building of your child’s literacy tower needs a strong foundation.
To cater to learning at the optimal level of individual ability and challenge is not only engaging and motivating, it is effective. Ability-driven learning is far wiser than holding on to the “security blanket” of drills at the current academic level, whether your child’s performance is higher or lower than expected.
Bridge Literacy is a comprehensive specialised literacy programme that focuses on providing a supportive platform for learners to cope and excel in the mainstream schools. We know best that learning phonics and memorising linguistic rules alone are not good enough especially for those who experience learning difficulties and yet have to manage the fast-paced curriculum.

Bridge Numeracy, integrated with ability-driven benchmarks and Bridge Piaget New Mathematics® activities, is thoroughly developed to support your child in acquiring strategies and skills required to be successful in the latest MOE syllabus.
Statistics show that many school children show declining Mathematics performance from primary 3 onwards despite good results in primary 1 and 2. Notice how some children can regurgitate facts and figures or do quick mental computations but do not know how to apply concepts nor solve problems creatively?
Learning Math by heart and pushing young learners quickly into abstract learning without meaningful understanding may produce pleasing results in the short-term. However, the troubling fact is that a weak numeracy foundation will show its cracks eventually and usually when at primary 3 and above.
For your children to get ahead in the dynamic world of tomorrow, the development of critical thinkers and creative problem-solvers, and not rote learners, is crucial.
At Bridge Learning, we know best that numeracy is more than computation, memory work, drill and rote learning. Bridge Numeracy is about understanding, logical and analytical thinking, real-life application and problem solving.
Especially Recommended For These Learners
• Mainstream Learners with Numeracy Difficulties
• Learning Motivation Damaged by the Drudgery of Tuition & Drills
• Seek More Intelligent Learning than Rote Learning & Worksheet Drills
• Desire Strong Numeracy Foundation & Excel in The Mainstream
• High-Ability Preschoolers Capable of Accessing the Primary Curriculum

Bridge Reading
• Structured Developmental Skills & Ability-Driven Levels
• Bridge Level 1 To 4: Pre-Reading/Emergent Reading/Reading/Advanced Reading
• Reading, Reading Comprehension, Spelling & Listening Skills Development
• Multi-Sensorial Activities Such as Reading Theatre, Role-Plays & Cricksoft Multi Media Tools (UK)
The foundation of literacy is reading. If the reading foundation is laid appropriately, your child will be learning on the literacy highway. Contrary to popular beliefs, learning letter sounds and recognising words by rote learning is not enough.
Have you come across a child who knows the entire letter sounds or has memorised words via rote learning and flashcards but has difficulty with reading? Or have you encountered a child who can read well beyond his/her age but does not understand the fantastic readings he/she just blabbered?
Bridge Reading helps to fortify your child’s reading foundation. We believe that learners need to move beyond the letter sounds and flashcards to higher levels of phonemic awareness that include fluent blending, decoding, phonological sequencing, multiple-spellings and advanced language structures which are extremely crucial in developing exceptional readers.
Besides a strong phonics curriculum, Bridge Reading focuses on developing your child’s listening, oral and comprehension skills through an array of learner-centred and multi-sensorial activities to engage your child in the learning process and becoming a competent reader.
Especially Recommended For These Learners
• Beginning Readers from 3 Years onwards
• Seek to Build Strong Foundation in Phonics, Reading, Spelling & Comprehension
• Mainstream Learners with Reading Difficulties
