Bridge NeuroGym is a fun and fitness programme that integrates the essence of occupational therapy, gymnastics and confidence circuits meant for children ranging from 16 months to 12 years old, according to individual abilities.
The structured developmental curriculum make use of exclusive equipment, specially-trained instructors and the 5 weaving fundamentals - music and movement, motor skills and body coordination, imagination, confidence circuits and teamwork to develop and enhance gross motor skills, sensory-motor integration, balance and motor-planning.
Bridge NeuroGym engages children through a variety of creative activities and imaginery games. Together with a range of movements such as rolling, kicking, wheeling, kneeling, running, throwing, and crawling, these regulate and network the nervous system by organizing and utilizing internal and external stimuli. Movements stimulate brain development by improving communication between the brain hemispheres. Improved sensory-motor integration promotes physical, cognitive, neuromuscular and body awareness capabilities, essential for effective learning.
