IEP is a one-to-one tailor-made intervention programme that is customised to your child’s specific needs. The targeted learning areas can be both academic and non-academic such as social-communication and behavioural concerns.
The elaboration of an IEP intervention for each learner follows a detailed process. Individual learning needs are identified, prioritised and established from results and analysis obtained during the Diagnostic Assessment and interview with parents which accompanied teachers’ feedback.
The set of time-framed goals, together with their corresponding criterion-referenced assessment benchmarks, are determined to intervene in bridging the gaps between the current level of performance and an optimal level of functioning.
Collaborative home-support plans are planned and provided for parents to participate in the intervention process, for increased effectiveness and significant progress.
